Our organic sencha is made from green tea leaves that are cultivated in direct sunlight and are harvested in the first or second flush of the tea harvest, considered the best quality leaves for a finer-tasting sencha tea. The Sencha is then combined with three varieties of mint: peppermint, spearmint, and field mint. Each brings its own refreshing flavour, which enhances the overall taste experience of this tea. The final flourish is the addition of finely milled, shade-grown organic matcha which comes from Uji, a region high in the hills around Kyoto, renowned for producing the best Japanese teas.
